CoCoTALK! AfterDARK! Video Episode #15 The Copyright Strikes Back!

Watch Now:

Our second show of CoCoTALK! on the same day was another great AfterDARK! episode, we were joined by Brendan Donahe and got an update on his CoCo VGA project (http://cocovga.com)  as well as heard from Paul Fiscarelli about his current project to work on a game in assembly language and share the process via YouTube tutorials, from the perspective of an assembly beginner, from what we've seen so far, it's looking pretty damn good!

We got a few copyright strikes on the afternoon show, by showing off an old video featuring Leonard Nimoy, and the music and that video was still under a current copyright, and YouTube flagged us for that, obviously we were completely unaware that such an obscure video, ripped off an VHS tape from 1984 would fall into that category.

To add insult to injury, we were requested to show off some of the "kids react to old computers" videos which are popular on YouTube, and again, by just showing a few of those clips, we got dinged for copyright violations again, so the offending material has been removed from the video before re-airing.

Other than that, it was a pretty good show, for the 2nd time in the same day!
